Thank you for your overwhelming response to our Spring 2021 registration drive! We have 350 families registered already, and we are communicating with you today to give you a few updates.
First, Registration for T-Ball/5-Pitch is now closed. Future registrants will be placed on a waiting list.
Second, Registration for all other divisions will be capped, and will be extended until Sunday, March 6th at 11:59 PM.
Finally, There will be no additional registration this Spring. If you do not register by Sunday night, your player will not be able to play in NVLL this Spring.
We have made these adjustments due to the high volume of registrations already received, and because we are placing safety above all. Under the current climate, we need to be able to follow COVID safety protocols, and that means our league will be a bit smaller this year.
Please remember that our divisions are limited to players whose age qualifies them for the division. Please do not register your child for a division for which they do not qualify in order to get a spot. Please refer to our Levels of Play page on our website, and review the League Age Calculator to determine your child's actual league age.
Once registration closes, we will get to work forming teams. Teams in the lower divisions (T-Ball, 5-Pitch, Farm) will be formed by our Player Agent, Division Coordinators, and Managers. Teams in the upper divisions (Minors, Majors, 50/70, Juniors, and Seniors) will be drafted by our managers, with support from our Board, Player Agent, and the respective Division Coordinators.
Managers will notify players’ families of their team placement as soon as is feasible, and practice time will be allocated to each division. Teams will work together on team building and skill building through the month of March, and we will tentatively start competition on April 10.
