As we approach the end of the regular season, planning for the NVLL End-of-Season Picnic (scheduled for Sunday, June 2) is well underway!
This year we are encouraging all teams to participate in a league-wide Taco ticket sales. We will be offering this service for $15 per person. Please see the flyer for more info. You can scan the QR code below to buy your tickets. Deadline is Saturday the 1st at 5pm.
Whether its your first picnic or your 8th, below you'll find helpful info about the picnic.
Who: NVLL players, families, and friends
What: 2024 end of Spring season picnic
When: Sunday, June 2 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm
Where: Junior field ("The Big Field")
Why: To celebrate our players with medals, a yearbook, games, and friendships made. To celebrate our parents with food, games, fun, and friendships made.
The gates will open at 8:00 am to claim your spot and pitch your pop-up. If you want you, can make a "team sign" to attach to your pop-up. It will make it easier for your team to find you.
Parking will be at full capacity. Additional parking will be available on Grand View.
Taco Truck: Use the QR code on the flyer to order tickets. Ticket orders must be made by Wednesday, May 29th. The taco trucks do not supply drinks or desserts.
Please arrange for your team to bring drinks, fruits, veggies, desserts, etc to share. Think of it as a potluck for everything but the entree (if you're buying taco tickets, Highly encourage :) )
In addition, we suggest you organize with your team on who can bring tables, chairs, canopies and anything else to keep you in the shade while you spend some quality time with your team.
Water guns (Super Soakers) are a great source of fun for the kids. NO WATER BALLOONS!!! Be sure to bring a change of clothes, and a towel for your child(ren), and DON'T FORGET THE SUNSCREEN!!
Yearbooks and medals will be given to Managers at 11:30. When you are called up, please wait for them to be handed to you.
From 2:00 to 4:00, we will have games (including home run derby) and prizes for adults, kids, and families.
You'll also be able to vote for next year's board of directors. Make sure your voice is heard and vote!
Last but definitely not least, you'll be able to sign up for Fall Ball at early bird pricing, $150 plus $50 if you want to buy out your snack shift
