Skills Evaluations

All players age 7 and up must participate in a skills evaluation session. These sessions permit our coaches in the Farm division and up to get a sense of each player’s skill level so that we can be sure to draft players into the appropriate division for their age and ability, and to help ensure parity between teams.

MAKE-UP EVALUATIONS: 
- Juniors (13-14 year-olds): 4:30 PM Wednesday January 29th
- Majors/Minors (9-12 year-olds): 4:30 PM Thursday January 30th

Please note that players MUST be registered PRIOR to participating in evaluations. NO WALK-ONS WILL BE PERMITTED ON EVALUATION DAYS. 

The skills evaluation session will consist of fielding fly balls in the outfield and making the throw into second base, fielding ground balls from the shortstop position and making the throws to first base, hitting, and baserunning. Upper division players (10, 11, and 12-year-olds) may be asked to demonstrate their ability to throw from the pitcher’s mound.
