Dear North Venice Little League Community:

We hope that this message finds every member of our community in good health and good spirits. It has been 8 months since the COVID-19 pandemic forced the closure of our fields and our league, but the way forward is starting to become clearer.

Recently, the Los Angeles County Public Health Department opened the door to a CONDITIONAL return to play for youth sports organizations, though those conditions do not include traditional league or game play. This return involves several safety guidelines and protocols designed to protect and preserve the safety and security of the participants.

These guidelines included several safety measures, including temperature checks, pre-screening, mask-wearing, and a number of other safety measures designed to keep communities safe.

As we prepare for a possible return to NVLL activity, we have designed two surveys to gauge the readiness and comfort level of the members of our community.

The first survey is designed for all NVLL families, and we ask that every family complete this survey once.

The second survey is for any member of the community who wishes to serve as a volunteer in any capacity (manager, coach, team representative, etc.). We do anticipate that we will need more volunteers to maintain physical distancing and safety protocols. If you are interested in serving as a volunteer, please complete this survey as well.
